Sustainability and preserving the environment are important factors at Staple Food Group (SFG). As outlined in our SFG Environmental policy, we are committed to ensure that our branded products are developed with consideration to current laws, policies but also supporting new innovations and green technology.
We also work in partnership with our customers, in order to promote the use of recyclable and biodegradable packaging.
To that end, in 2022 we have completed our product development project on our Aerosol Cream packaging and have launched a more environmentally friendly brown cardboard outer tray. This switch will use less resources compared with the white outer trays, that require bleaching and may use dyes that can contribute to pollution and water contamination.
Our new brown outer trays are also widely recyclable.
